Antares Vargas Resume

I am Antares, a daughter, friend, and artist. Art has been an integral part of my life since childhood, as I immersed myself in drawing, storytelling, piano playing, and various forms of creative expression. While pursuing my passion for content creation, I encountered the challenge of societal expectations that favored traditional careers. However, I remained steadfast in my belief that making content and telling stories was my true calling.

I honed my skills at USC Marshall Business School before venturing into the world of entertainment. There, I seized incredible opportunities to write, produce, and edit television content for numerous major networks and streaming platforms, including Amazon, HBO, Fox, Disney, TBS, NFL, BET, Oprah, Masterclass, and more. In 2017, I founded Cilantro Doodles Entertainment, a production company dedicated to amplifying underrepresented voices.

For the past 8 years, I have been producing content for the NAACP Image Awards, and in 2022, I proudly served as a producer and editor on the Emmys.

Delving deep into each story and unraveling the storylines and emotions that connect us all brings me immense joy.

Being a member of esteemed organizations like the Motion Picture Editors Guild, IATSE Local 700, and the National Association of Latino Independent Producers fills me with pride.

When I'm not on a television set or in the editing room, you'll find me with a camera in hand, capturing moments, people, and places through my unique lens. Photography serves as my escape, a medium to preserve moments for eternity.

I embody a force of nature, driven by ambition and unwavering dedication to leaving a lasting impact on the world

—one story, one image, and one production at a time.

My work acts as a mirror, reflecting my daily experiences and providing glimpses into my unique perspective on life's journey.

I am eagerly committed to writing, producing, and

amplifying the voices of Latinx communities.

Four essential items always accompany me: my camera, a book, a notebook, and a pen. They fuel my research, ignite my creativity, and grant me the freedom I cherish in this line of work.

Each project brings new lessons, and I eagerly embrace the path that my career will traverse next.

I am fluent in Spanish, both spoken and written. Let's connect and explore the boundless possibilities!

Success! Message received.
